Hi there again! It seems someone can't keep on track with her bog posts! this is turning into my journal! I used to have a journal... sometimes I pick up my journal, write in it once or twice and then ignore it for another year. I guess I did promise back then to post every week but now... it looks like maybe every month I'm sorry! Getting to the point now: I have gotten into art a lot now and my new dream is to become a traditional animator. It's when you sketch out all the scenes of one character and it becomes animated :D Lets see how long this lasts though... Living in Tokyo so far is AWESOME. I have been dreaming to go ice skating in midtown and I really hope that will happen soon. I love ice skating and there is an ice rink that will be open until march something! That means I can go for my birthday which I'm going to do because Ice skating with my friends sounds so amazing! Speaking of birthdays I'm finally going to turn 12! I get a pretty cool birthday surprise too. I have been doing these english lessons to a japanese class and on my birthday we get to go up and meet these kids! The lessons were put together on one day, and then performed on Skype to these kids who got to learn. Apparently their area was hit by a tsunami not so long ago so we are helping these kids out by teaching them english. I'm not really teaching them by talking in japanese though. That is the "MC"'s job. (I don't really know what it stand's for but it means translator.) I'm so glad in my new school. I have lots of nice friends and one that lives two apartment's away! Her name is Kate and we're close B) not that I don't miss my V.A friends but its great to have an awesome friend.
Anyway the word of the day is: 日本 or Nihon. It means Japan in japanese (lol). and guess what it stands for? (say this in a dramatic voice now it deserves it:) LAND OF THE RISING SUN! That really sounds so mystical and awesome. to think: Japan means Land of the rising sun! Sooo cool.
Symbol of the day is (yes I am doing symbols now): 日. "Nichi" It means sun or day. it is in the word 日本 but it is pronounced "Ni" instead of "Nichi" because I mean: "Nichihon?" Doesn't sound very nice. Can you guess what sunday is? 日よび which is sun (Nichi) day (Yobi) all together: sunday (Nichiyobi)
Thanks for reading? hehe Bye!

What's been going on
And we're back! Hello again from Japan with another segment of Life in Tokyo! Wait sorry you're on the wrong page, this is Willa's blog! I can't believe I've already experienced a real earthquake already, and a 4.7 out of 10. Not very big just a small shake it was still cool though and will go down in the pointless history books as Willa Naomi Hale's ( wILa naOOOm1 haail) first earthquake in Japan ever! Now let's quit the sarcasm and move on to the good stuff. So I just recently had my first Middle School dance at asij (oh pity me) and it's right before the dance and my throat is hurting so I go to the heath center (nurse) to get it fixed and after I felt pretty decent. About 5-10 minutes after I started feeling more hot and realized soon I had a fever. The busses had already left so that was summarizing that I pretty much had to spend the whole three hours just trying to have a good sick time. I ended up resting a lot, in the library, in the office, in the health center, and got a temp. of 100.5 low fever with a sore sore throat. It was pretty bad but I hope my other dances will be good and well. in other news me and my mom found out the secret to killing cockroaches! I was hungry so I made popcorn and took the popcorn into my room and it attracted a scary cockroach that scuttled around rudely. when my father scanned the area and assumed it left then my mother came to help with shoe at the ready. we eventually found it underneath my carpet and originally thought of me lifting and my mom squishing the darn creature. we knew we would probably have to chase it around and have you seen those things run? they are FAST! Then I came up with a great idea! why don't we just jump on the carpet and squish it like that? so we both put on big shoes and began madly stomping the heck out of that thing! and man was it fun! Ahh nothing like sweet bug payback. No more bugs are ever gonna run in this room again. EVAH!
see ya next week! and remember i'm changing my link from bloggle200.blogspot.com to Willa'sBloggle.blogspot.com no need for capitols.

Asij
So it's great to be blogging again after the week is over/ a new week is beginning. I have many new japanese words that I learned from school (yes school has started already). It's really cool how my teacher teaches: she speaks all in japanese and teaches us kind of by repeating, signaling, and sometimes going in her "english hoop" (a blue hula hoop) that she uses when speaking english to us.
Ok so three japanese words for today are: ichi = 1 ni = 2 and san = 3 thats all thanks for reading my blog! have a nice week everyone!
I have decided to change my link to my blog from blogger200.blogspot.com (because honestly where does the 200 come in?) to Willa'sBloggle.blogspot.com. I will be changing it after my next post (so not this one but the next one). Ok now to asij if you're wondering what the heck that is. Asij is the school I am going to: American School In Japan is what it stands for. It's a really really great school! there are three buildings: high school building, middle school building, and elem. school building. they are all really huge with the HS building having a swimming pool and the MS building having three floors, heck their even building a new building this year! (private school am I right?) It's too much to explain in words so here is a link (sorry i it seems like i'm bragging because its so amazing)

Japan
I'm finally here in Tokyo Japan!!! Before I got here I've gone from the Beach to New York to Baltimore (plane ) to Las Vegas (met my best friend Mackenzie who moved last summer!) Arizona to Utah back to Baltimore to Virginia and finally... (drumroll please) TOKYO (Japan)! It took a whole thirteen hours on a plane to get here! But it's ok because I had funnel cake! out of all the places I have been my favorites are the places where i saw my family and friends (Utah, Arizona, and Las Vegas). I have just lately been to McDonolds in Tokyo. Let me just tell you their McDonolds is way better then ours, it had three floors! We also went to a supermarket and got Pocky those delicious breadsticks covered with chocolate mmm so tasty! I live in a pretty sweet place; a two story apartment with three refrigerators two living rooms and no tv :( apparently we need to buy one D:( <-- mad face here are some pictures finally!
<---this is a vending machine from Japan! different right? some weird soda... I think some of it has jello stuff in it yuck.
Here is a book store japanese style! its very weird because all the books seem backwords because you read from left to right very strange in a cool way.

Little Overboard
Finally me and my family have reached the point where we are in the final stretch (A.K.A our month long vacation before the long flight to tokyo)! luckily before the movers took it, my sister put my camera in her bag so I can take pictures! Speaking of that the firework pictures might take longer then expected to download, due to the movers taking the little thing that can download pictures... (other mistakes include: packing my wallet that has a hundred and something dollars in it in boat shipment the one shipment that takes about oh ya know... THREE MONTHS! :(, not packing the most important pan drawer in ANY shipment, and taking my pillow that was packed in my suitcase, which they are not supposed to touch, in either boat or air shipment) So here we are now at little overboard the beach house/mansion (soooo maaany staaaairs!) It's beautiful and I'll post more about the beautiful beach. There are also many decks. keep a look out for more posts and pictures about the great little overboard!

Happy fourth of july!
happy fourth of july! I don't know about you but my day was close to perfect! Starting with doughnuts and sausage leading to the parade and finally beautiful fireworks that lit up the sky! I should have taken my camera... Luckily though, I got some shots on my mom's phone and i will upload them with their names soon (I like to think up names for fireworks sometimes. it's really fun sometimes!). I bet you all are wondering when i'm moving to Japan right? The exact date is august 7th but i will be posting a lot of pictures from my trips (staying in a beach house, flying to utah and then to new york and possibly san francisco) starting july 11th. have you noticed my profile picture? tell me if you like it if you have a gmail account, and look out for those pictures of fireworks i'm going to be posting! happy fourth everybody!

graduation aftermath
So it seems that there was no fruit punch at the party or an all out volleyball game but thats ok because we had a circus themed party! It was great but I think the best part of my day was getting the art award for following the three R's (respectful, responsible, and ready) and giving the best effort. I hope I didn't make anyone jealous because that would kinda ruin it :( I hate feeling like I ruined the experience for someone. Sometimes I even feel guilty (like that time I got Ruby from the raffle thing: that was pure luck and everyone wanted her. I couldn't believe I even got her anyway!). Anyway, I wish a good year in sixth grade to all of you going to J.L. simpson, Smarts mill, and other Middle schools. We just graduated from our first five years isn't that amazing! Graduation was like three hours but it was the first time I ever actually listened a lot and it felt like a regular 30-minute assembly :) I had a wonderful day and I will miss every one of my friends of catoctin elementary. keep checking my blog and you can follow me through the wonders and not-so wonders of japan!
